In this article, we would like to share the story behind why MF, one of our co-founders, decided to develop this Tea Tree Repair Cream, the inspiration behind it, and its proven efficacy.

The Original Purpose of R&D: Witnessing the Helplessness and Struggles of Those Around Her

Initially, MF suffered from mild eczema herself. However, she noticed that more and more friends and family members around her were enduring the torment of severe eczema, which prompted her to start researching how to eradicate the condition.

After deep research, MF discovered that the most troublesome issue with eczema-prone skin lies in the infection of Staphylococcus aureus (golden staph). When the skin barrier is compromised, or when minuscule wounds appear due to scratching, bacteria take advantage of the vulnerability to enter, causing the skin to repeatedly become inflamed. Watching everyone suffer so deeply because of their skin, MF and her close friend decided to join forces to find a natural formula that could truly break this vicious cycle.

The Crucial Inspiration: A Doctoral Academic Experiment by a Nurse Friend

MF's inspiration came from an aromatherapy practitioner course. During the class, she learned that tea tree essential oil is highly effective in treating Staphylococcus aureus.

Subsequently, her nurse friend conducted a clinical study in a nursing home—using natural tea tree essential oil to treat bedsores (pressure ulcers), which are common among the elderly and extremely difficult to heal. The experimental results were highly ideal; both the wound healing and antibacterial effects far exceeded expectations.

This success deeply inspired them. Since tea tree essential oil is of such great help clinically for such severe pressure ulcer wounds, and they successfully identified the "golden ratio" concentration that combines safety with excellent antibacterial effects, why not apply this concept to daily eczema skincare products?

Evolution of the Formula: From Ointment to a Full-Spectrum Repair Cream

Holding onto this belief, MF began learning how to formulate skincare products. However, the research and development process was not all smooth sailing; she went through two major stages:

Stage 1: Limitations of Traditional Ointments

Initially, we made a relatively simple ointment-like product. Although the tea tree essential oil exerted its antibacterial effects, the texture of the ointment restricted the addition of other water-soluble anti-itching materials, making it impossible to immediately soothe the patient's agonizing itch.

Stage 2: The Birth and Upgrade of the Cream Formula

To overcome these limitations, she made step-by-step adjustments and successfully developed a cream that absorbs much better. We further realized that relying solely on sterilization is not enough; the damaged skin barrier must be deeply repaired. Therefore, on top of the tea tree essential oil base, she progressively incorporated more powerful, natural repairing ingredients:

・Helichrysum Essential Oil: Provides powerful skin cell repair capabilities.

・Squalane and Calendula Oil: Deeply moisturize and rebuild the skin barrier.

Real Case Study

1. Initial Condition (Before) —

Before starting to use the Natural Tea Tree Repair Cream, Case A's forearm showed severe skin damage. As can be clearly seen from the image, a large area of bright red, highly inflammatory rash appeared on the inner forearm. The rash was covered with obvious horizontal scratch marks, and there was even minor skin breakage and scabbing.

2. Application Process and Progress (Middle) — 

The patient began applying the Natural Tea Tree Repair Cream twice a day as recommended. The cream quickly exerted its antibacterial and anti-itching effects, significantly reducing her scratching behavior. It can be observed that skin damage began to decrease, and the skin bleeding issue also improved significantly.

3. Restored Result (After) —

After about three weeks of continuous use, Case A's skin condition showed significant improvement. As can be seen from the image, the originally severe red rash had completely disappeared. The scratch marks, inflammation, and dryness were all gone, and the underlying skin was perfectly repaired.
